Dear Piers This is my list of questions to the quantum critical point. I Are critical indices characterizing the QCP in 2D liquid He-3 and 2D electron gas, the same as those in heavy fermion metals? II Does the form of scaling H/T behavior of YbRh2Si2 and CeRu2Si2 in the QCP hold i) in PuCoGa_5 ( at T>T_c), ii) in 2D liquid He-3? III. Is the divergence of the effective mass the necessary condition for the non-Fermi-liquid behavior of Fermi systems obeying Landau theory far from the critical point? IV. Is the persistence of the Kadowaki-Woods relation the evidence for the presence of the single band, contributing to the specific heat and resistivity as well? (in the case of two bands, an additional factor m^2_l/m^2_h emerges, where m_l is the light mass and m_h , the heavy one). If so what is the mechanism, responsible for the linearity in T of the resistivity \rho(T) close to the QCP? V. The Curie-Weiss behavior of the magnetic susceptibility close to the QCP is known to emerge due to i)localization of carriers, or ii) flattening of their single-particle spectra. Is the measurement of the Curie constant sufficient to distinguish between both mechanisms? VI How to evaluate the change in entropy emerging in the QCP? Best wishes Victor
