I am very interested in finding out the tools which can help to fix the "local QPT" by Q. Si et. al. to make spin fluctuations 3D, but leave all the consequences of the their picture intact. One possibility is to invert their picture and to consider electrons to be on the verge of the phase transition (almost FM or AFM metal in the presence of paramagnetic impurities). Some of this has been already considered by Varma, but I think what he has is not a full story. 2. MnSi: the extremely clean material with NFL transport properties at low-T. What the microscopic mechanism, which is responsible for such a behaviour? Possibility for topological excitations causing anomalous scattering? 3. Charge Kondo & superconductivity: can application of AC electric field bring the Tc up? (that is what I am currently working on). best, Maxim
