Here are my questions/issues that I find important for our QPT workshop: 1. The physics we are discussing is based on findings in certain materials. On the other hand, it is important to separate basic physics questions from properties specific to a certain material or even a certain sample. We should develop strategies to resolve this dichotomy. 2. Near quantum phase transitions, temperature is the only relevant variable, other energy scales becoming very small. Is there any deeper link to soft condensed matter where the dynamics is also temperature or entropy driven? Is there a general trend of hard matter getting soft near a QPT? 3. What is the physical interpretation of the small energy scale(s) in the presence of strong interactions? Of course, CeCuAu still bugs me. You have formulated the relevant theoretical questions, of course also pertaining to YbRhSi and HTSC, in yesterday morning's session.
