We founded Friends of KITP to create educational and entertaining opportunities for members of the community to engage with world-class scientists and educators working at the very frontiers of science. If you enjoy learning, community engagement and intellectual challenge, you will find your membership in the Friends to be immensely rewarding. We have established five Membership Circles, so that all members of our community will be able to join while still offering unique guest privileges and private gatherings to the members of the higher Circles who are able to provide greater levels of support to the Friends. To encourage the broadest participation we offer discounted membership to all students and teachers.

Your membership and annual gifts to the Friends are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You may easily become a Friend of KITP by downloading, completing and mailing the membership application form as indicated. We look forward to seeing you at future events of the friends!
