KITP

The Simons Foundation has made a generous award to the KITP to support scientists leaving their home institutions for extended visits to the KITP and to participate in its activities. To this end we are establishing the "Simons Distinguished Visiting Scholars" to supplement sabbatical leaves and otherwise support extended visits to the KITP, and we invite those interested to apply.

Persons interested in this program should apply below. They should provide us with a C.V., an explanation of their reasons for wanting to visit, desired dates, and their financial needs. Preference will be given to extended visits (a minimum of one month is required) and to organizers and participants in our programs. Applications should be received by April 1 (decisions by April 15) or October 1 (decisions by October 15).
