• Hiking

• Small group hikes are led by Sierra Club members every weekend.  You need not be a SC member to participate.
• Guides and maps for nearby hikes are available online from SB Trail Guide, The Independent, and especially, Diane Soini's  SB Hikes.  You can download Diane's book of  23 nearby day hikes for $5.00. 
• Topo maps are available from the Geological Service or from the local Forest Service office.
• Sedgwick Reserve conducts nature hikes on the second Saturday of each month beginning in November.  Reservations required.
• Hiking books can be found in local bookstores or ordered online.
• Some hiking guides and maps are also available at the KITP from Monica Curry (Room 1108.)

• Biking

• SB Bicycle Coalition provides general information about region biking.
• Bikeway maps are available free from the Traffic Solutions office and online.  Printed copies of the county map will be mailed on request.
