Shift Theorem and Schwinger Mechanism in the Presence of Arbitrary Time Dependent Electric Field

In this talk, I will show that, in certain integrals and path integrals
it is possible to shift one of the non-commuting operator from the
exponential of sum of two non-commuting operators. Using this shift
theorem we study, for the first time, Schwinger mechanism in the
presence of arbitrary time dependent electric field E(t) and find that
it has exactly the same form as Schwinger's constant E result.
