Holiday Inn Express (Hotel Virginia) is a 61-room hotel in the downtown Santa Barbara area, near the beach and downtown sightseeing and shopping. It features classic 1920's art decor furnishings with modern amenities, such as free WiFi access. It is fully air-conditioned and has a private parking lot (there is a $7 per day parking fee). Because of location, prices are more like a regular Holiday Inn than Express.
Rate includes a continental breakfast, and no extra charge for double occupancy (when available). To get the KITP special rate, let them know you are with "Theoretical Physics" at UCSB. The manager is Kay Mortar.
