Online Talks

We record and post nearly every talk that is given at KITP — from daily program talks, weeklong conferences, cross-departmental colloquia, and events; including Public Lectures and Chalk Talks. In addition to the full-length lectures, KITP recordings also capture the discussions that occur following presentations; sharing in-house questions, answers, and debates with audiences outside Kohn Hall. KITP's Online Talks provides access to the scientific developments that occur at KITP.

All posted talks are available to stream or download and are also available in podcast format. In addition to video recordings of talks, most talks are posted with supplemental presentation slides in PDF files provided directly from the speaker. Approximately 20,000 talks are available on the KITP website at Online Talks, with more talks added each day.

In 2018, remote viewers watched an average of 544 hours of recorded talks per day through KITP cloud services, local servers, and YouTube channel.
