John R. Mackall has a B.A., Harvard University, 1970; Honorary Harvard National Scholar J.D., Stanford University, 1973.
John Mackall has been a partner in the Santa Barbara law firm of Seed, Mackall and Cole for the past 24 years, with a practice emphasis on estate planning and business law.
He serves on the board of the Alice Tweed Tuohy Foundation and the William N. Pennington Foundation.
He was recently re-elected as board chairman of Cottage Health System, having joined the Cottage board in 1996. He has also served a a trustee of the Goleta Valley Community Hospital board, and as past president of the Crane School Board of Trustees.
