Neutrinos and New Physics
Coordinators: Martha Constantinou
The Nobel-prize-winning discovery of neutrino masses and flavor mixing represents a breakthrough in the search for physics beyond the Standard Model. As the field of neutrino physics enters the precision era, neutrinos are ubiquitous and yet retain many mysteries, which are key to particle physics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics. At present, we are faced with a number of urgent questions, the resolution of which will require multidisciplinary collaborations. The aim of the Teachers' Conference is to address some of these questions and help inform the general community with this torrent of developments. The speakers are world-leading experts in their respective fields and are participants of the KITP program "Neutrinos as a Portal to New Physics and Astrophysics."
