inquisitive members of the community to engage with renowned scientists in an intimate setting
The most recent KITP Salon for Inquiring Minds event was held in New York City on October 16th at the New York Racquet & Tennis Club, hosted by supporter and UCSB alumnus, Bruce Wilcox, '77. It was an engaging night of science and curiosity, as salon attendees were treated to refreshments and an enlightening conversation with Berkeley Professor Ashvin Viswanath on the properties of "quantum materials," in which electron-electron interactions yield new states of matter
